Double-Blind Peer Review
IJAREST uses a double-blind peer review process, meaning the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review. This ensures impartial, unbiased evaluation of submitted manuscripts based solely on their scientific merit.
Submission
Author submits the manuscript via the online submission form. An automated acknowledgement email with a unique Paper ID is sent to the corresponding author within 24 hours.
Initial Editorial Screening
The Editor-in-Chief or an Associate Editor performs an initial check within 3–5 working days to assess: (a) scope alignment, (b) plagiarism check, (c) formatting compliance, and (d) minimum quality standards. Papers failing this check are returned without peer review.
Plagiarism Check
All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with similarity index above 15% (excluding references) are returned to authors for correction before proceeding.
Reviewer Assignment
The handling editor assigns the manuscript to 2–3 independent expert reviewers with relevant domain expertise from our reviewer panel. Reviewer anonymity is strictly maintained.
Peer Review
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript and submit their assessment within the stipulated time. Each reviewer provides: (a) a recommendation decision, (b) detailed comments to authors, and (c) confidential comments to the editor. Review duration: 4–8 weeks.
Editorial Decision
Based on reviewer reports, the Editor makes one of four decisions:
✅ Accept — Paper accepted with no or minor changes.
🔄 Major Revision — Significant revisions required; re-review after revision.
✏ Minor Revision — Small corrections needed; no re-review.
❌ Reject — Does not meet publication standards.
Author Revision
If revision is required, authors receive detailed reviewer comments and must submit a revised manuscript along with a point-by-point response letter within the specified deadline (usually 2–4 weeks).
Final Decision & Acceptance
Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated. Upon final acceptance, authors receive an acceptance letter with instructions for APC payment and copyright transfer.
Production & Publication
After APC payment and copyright form submission, the paper enters production. It is copy-edited, formatted, and published in the next available issue. A DOI is assigned and the paper is made available online.
e-Certificate Issuance
Authors can download their e-Publication Certificate from our certificate portal after the paper is published.
