Withdrawal Policy
IJAREST understands that authors may occasionally need to withdraw a submitted manuscript. However, withdrawal is discouraged and must be requested properly, as it wastes the valuable time of editors and reviewers. This policy outlines the conditions, procedures, and implications of manuscript withdrawal.
📋 Withdrawal Procedures by Stage
Before Peer Review (Within 48 hours of Submission)
Withdrawal is permitted without penalty. Contact the editor at editor@ijarest.org with subject: "Withdrawal Request – [Paper ID]". The manuscript will be removed from the system.
During Peer Review (Under Review Status)
Withdrawal requires written justification from the corresponding author and acknowledgement from all co-authors. A withdrawal processing fee of ₹500 may apply to cover editorial and reviewer costs already incurred.
After Acceptance (Before Publication)
Withdrawal after acceptance is strongly discouraged. Authors must submit a formal withdrawal request approved by all co-authors. A cancellation fee of 20% of the APC applies. The withdrawal will be noted on the editorial record.
After Publication (Published Papers)
Published papers cannot be withdrawn. Post-publication concerns are handled through formal corrections (errata) or, in serious cases, retraction as per COPE guidelines.
⚠ Duplicate Submission Withdrawal
If it is discovered that a paper was simultaneously submitted to another journal (duplicate submission), IJAREST reserves the right to immediately reject or retract the manuscript without notice, and the authors may be blacklisted from future submissions to any KG Publication journal.

Send an email to editor@ijarest.org with:
- Subject: Withdrawal Request – [Paper ID]
- Reason for withdrawal
- Written consent from all co-authors (CC or signed letter)
- Confirmation that the manuscript has not been published or accepted elsewhere
