Double-Blind Peer Review Policy
IJAREST employs a rigorous double-blind peer review model for all submitted manuscripts. In this model, the identities of both the author(s) and the reviewer(s) remain anonymous throughout the review process, ensuring impartial and unbiased scientific evaluation.
✅ What IJAREST Uses
Double-Blind Peer Review
Authors do not know who reviewed their paper. Reviewers do not know who wrote the paper. Both identities are concealed throughout the process.
ℹ Reviewer Selection
Reviewers are selected based on domain expertise, prior publication record, and the absence of conflicts of interest. Minimum 2 reviewers are assigned per manuscript; 3 reviewers in case of disagreement.
- ✔Complete the review within the stipulated timeframe (typically 3–4 weeks).
- ✔Provide constructive, detailed, and specific comments to help authors improve their work.
- ✔Evaluate manuscripts objectively based on scientific merit and relevance to scope.
- ✔Maintain strict confidentiality of the manuscript and review content.
- ✔Declare any conflicts of interest to the editor before accepting a review request.
- ✔Identify any published work relevant to the manuscript that has not been cited.
- ✔Abstain from using unpublished information from the manuscript in their own research.
- ✔Recommend one of the following decisions: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject.
Authors who believe their manuscript has been rejected or assessed unfairly may submit a formal appeal to editor@ijarest.org with the subject line "Appeal – [Paper ID]". The appeal must include a detailed rebuttal explaining why the rejection decision was incorrect. Appeals are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief and may result in reassignment to a different reviewer.
Note: Appeals based solely on disagreement with a reviewer's opinion, without scientific justification, will not be considered.
