Abstract

Field of medical imaging, stimulated by the advances in digital & communication technologies, has grown
tremendously. Medical imaging refers to a number of techniques, that can be used as non-invasive methods of looking inside
body. Medical imaging is a central importance in diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and patient management. Imaging should only
be performed, if it is likely to help with the diagnosis and improve management of your health condition or any injury. Here, we
discuss ultrasound imaging, high resolution computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging application, etc.
