Abstract

This paper present an analysis on the unified Power quality conditioner (UPQC) to improve the electric power quality at
distribution levels. Conventional power quality mitigation equipment is a providing to be poor for an increasing number of
applications. Different approaches in compensation and recent developments in fields. Single modern and very promising solution
that deal with both load current and supply voltage inadequacy is the Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC). This is intended to
present a broad overview on the different possible UPQC system configurations for single-phase (two-wire) and three-phase (threewire and four-wire) networks.
