Abstract

Non-linear load which change current and voltage waveform of power system this cases generate harmonics in transmission
system. Three-phase six-pulse uncontrolled rectifier is the simple factor in transmission system. This paper presents a study and
reduction of source current harmonics in three phase uncontrolled rectifier using instantaneous power scheme based active power
filter. This filter also improve power factor. Results are achieved by computer simulation.
