Abstract

The main aim of this paper is to represents the protection of transmission line and a
method for obtaining relaying signals based on travelling wave. As this scheme utilizes high frequency
components for detection of fault, it is the quickest possible scheme for the protection of power system
as a whole and gives more accurate information about the fault location compared to the traditional
available scheme.
