Abstract

air pollution is becoming a major concern for the health of the population. Urban outdoor air pollution is
estimated to cause 1.3 million deaths worldwide per year. This work presents the idea of detecting harmful gases
using latest technology, Internet of Things. It presents the design and implementation of wireless sensor network based
ambient monitoring system for air pollution control and data analysis using smart sensors which is aimed to provide
accurate pollution level.
In this paper present the system architecture, different gas (CO, CO2, BENZEN, NH3) sensor will monitor environment
pollution level in real time. This data will be transferred and stored to portal using internet. Then pollution control
center can monitor e real time air quality of environment.
