Abstract

Over loading commercial trucks in India is a serious problem. Traffic load is dominant function on flexible
pavement design because the main function of pavement is to resist traffic load. Some roads are not designed for carry
heavy load. In functional behavior visual observed by measuring cracking, rutting, potholes, reveling, patching in
deterioration pavement. Traffic volume count is required for calculate the load on road. In the structural evaluation
of flexible pavement the pavement deflection is measured by the Benkelman beam. The objective of the present study
to evaluate the sub-grade soil parameter, traffic volume, requirement of overlay design for future traffic conditions.
