Abstract

The world’s hunger for energy is rapidly increasing while we at the same time face critical environmental
issues as well as dwindling resources. To manage this situation we need to produce, transport, store and consume
energy in new and more efficient ways. Nanotechnology promises to be the tool we need. This paper is an outcome of
literature survey in this field and thus the importance of nanotechnology and its energy applications is highlighted.
