Abstract

Patients wait delay and patient overcrowding is one of the major challenges faced by hospitals. Waiting time
increases the frustration on patients. Patient Queue Management and wait time prediction form challenging and
complicated job because each patient might require different phases and operations such as check-up and various
tests. Based on large scale, realistic dataset, the treatment time of each patient in the queue is predicted. We use an
Apache Spark-based cloud implementationand Machine learning techniques to achieve the aforementioned goals.
