Abstract

The necessity of effective filtration technique had been employed by the researchers to make
alternatives which have most efficient ways. This makes us to focus on the field of PVDF hollow fibre
membrane where the filtered potable water comes out as permeate. The study of hollow fibre membrane
is an effective area because of its high water flux. The concept of hollow fibre membrane plays an
important role in the preparation and characterization techniques. An attempt is made in this paper to
review the literature related to the hollow fibre membrane and modifications made to improve the
permeate level.
